Momotaro Auction - October 5th 2010 - Photos and Videos

Momotaro Koi Farm held their first auction of the 2010 Autumn Season on Tuesday 5th October. Koibito Japan attended and placed bids for our customers as usual.

This time round Maeda san really pushed the boat out. WIth this auction being one of the biggest Nisai auctions ever at Momotaro Koi Farm with a total of 165 Guaranteed Female Nisai sold.

The total was broken down as follows:
55 pcs of Mako Kohaku (5 yr old 92 cm parent koi)
12 pcs of Bentley Kohaku (99 cm parent koi)
5 pcs of Tancho Kohaku
3 pcs of GinRin Kohaku
30 pcs of Ryujin (107 cm parent koi)
30 pcs of Ryu Sanke (102 cm parent koi)
22pcs of Showa (Female Parent 5 yr old 75 cm Shiro Showa, Male Parent is Mako Showa)
3 pcs of GinRin Showa
5 pcs of Kujaku

Average final bids for koi in this auction were 350,000 JPY, with bids ranging from 100,000 JPY to over 2,000,000 JPY.
